The Barn Welcomes New General Manager Suresh Menon

Suresh Menon was the General Manager of Junior Tennis Champions Center/Bolles and was responsible for directing and operating the tennis program at JTCC satellite center in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was formerly the International Tennis Federation Development Officer for Asia for 21 years.  His role as the ITF Development Officer, was to oversee, judge, develop, conduct Davis Cup, Federation Cup, Coaches Education Level, Regional and World Wide Coaches Conferences, National Association Advisor, Asian Tennis Federation Advisor, ITF Author of Scholarly Published Articles, Olympic Solidarity, Grand Slam Funding, ITF Coaches Education Expert and Assessor for judging, certifying, assessing International Coaches and National Association Coach Education systems.

He was responsible for
• Planning operations and execution; specialized manpower procurement;
• Review operational readiness of venues, games projects, personnel allocations; maximizing output;
• Building reporting structures; Gathering maximum output from resources allocated to each project;
• Execution of sporting events at Regional Games, Asian Games, International events from ground up.

Created a player pathway for many of Asia top tennis players. His efforts to promote and develop tennis in Asia have earned him the Certificate of Merit from the Asian Tennis Federation, Campaign Medal for Vietnam Sport Career by the Vietnam Sport Committee and has received Singapore Tennis Association award for services to the game.


He was a former number one player of Malaysia and represented Malaysia in the Davis Cup. He also played US college tennis and graduated with a Marketing and Finance degree from the University of Idaho. Menon started his career in tennis as a player on the ITF junior circuit and reached a career high of 28 on the ITF junior rankings.
